Pastor Howard Lawler
Pastor Howard Lawler was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey and became a Christian at age sixteen. Pastor Howard began college as a music major, but an encounter with a Jehovah’s Witness pushed him into serious Bible study. His studies and service in the church eventually led to the pastorate. He has a BA from Northeastern Bible College, an MA from Wheaton Graduate School, and has pastored in New Jersey and Pennsylvania prior to coming to Fishkill, NY in July of 2008. Francine and Howard have been married since 1983 and have two adult children. Pastor Howard is honored to serve as a chaplain on call for Metro-North Railroad, and is a member of Bugles Across America, which serves to play “Taps” at military funerals. Hockey, history, hiking, and trumpet fill in the corners of his time.
